Apoqnmatulti’k

Apoqnmatulti’k (Mi'kmaw for we help each other) is an NSERC-funded partnership between the Confederacy of Mainland Mi'kmaq (CMM), Unama'ki Institute of Natural Resources (UINR), Marine Institute of Natural and Academic Science (MINAS), Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO), Ocean Tracking Network (OTN), Acadia University and Dalhousie University.

Apoqnmatulti’k is guided by the principle of Two-Eyed Seeing and through co-design, joint participation and shared knowledge, aims to enable better stewardship of culturally, commercially and ecologically valued aquatic species.
